In 2004, I moved to Plumsted Township with my wife, Kristen, attracted by the open space and affordability. We quickly fell in love with the small-town feel, where neighbors looked out for each other, you could drive anywhere in town without sitting in traffic, and local government was accessible to all. In 2016, I retired from a career as a nonprofit executive. With over 30 years of business experience focused on producing superior results with limited resources, I was ready for this next chapter.
After serving on the Plumsted Land Use Board from 2015 to 2019, I ran for public office for the first time under the theme, ”Putting Plumsted Families First: Communication, Safety, Preservation, Integrity.” Elected to the Plumsted Township Committee in 2019 and again in 2022, my priorities have not changed. A lifelong Republican, I’ve modeled my public service after the examples of Ronald Reagan and Ron Dancer: Hold true to your values, keep a positive outlook, and be ready to work with everyone to achieve what’s best for your community.
Serving as Mayor in 2022, 2023, and 2025, I’ve continued to fight to keep Plumsted Township affordable, to balance preservation with smart growth, and for small-town values where we care for and respect one another.
My former running mate, Herb Marinari, has decided to conclude his extensive public service at the end of his term this year. I’m grateful for his friendship and the leadership experience he’s shared with the community.
In this election, I’m pleased to be running with longtime resident and businessman Ted Garrigana. We share a vision of great days ahead for Plumsted Township. I’m eager to tackle the challenges we face as a community with a unified committee that has all residents’ best interests at the heart of its decision making.

I have been a proud Plumsted Township resident for 22 years. Raised in Brick, long ago I knew I wanted to live in a safe, peaceful community that provided a scenic backdrop of farmland, recreation, and open space. New Egypt offers all that and more. As an avid hunter and outdoorsman—and a champion of 2nd Amendment rights—there’s no place Renee, my wife of 26 years, and I would rather call home.
I have served in the HVAC industry for 39 years. I began as a Field Technician, gaining experience, knowledge, and skills along the way. Today I serve as a Senior Sales Representative, a role I love because of the many opportunities it offers me to interact with people. I inherited my strong work ethic from my family, and I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves and work hard to get a job done right. I have worked extensively with suppliers, and I have a reputation for successfully managing projects by enhancing efficiency and lowering costs. I’m a critical thinker. I approach challenges by looking at them from multiple perspectives, which allows me to develop best-fit solutions for challenging situations.
I value, appreciate, and respect people of all life experiences. It motivates me to provide excellent care to those I serve. I’m known for diligent follow up with professionalism and attention to detail. Yes, I’m new to the public service arena. That’s a positive, as it allows me to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the table as we seek to address township issues and create the best possible quality of life for our residents. The skills and character traits mentioned above are essential to the role of Township Committeeman and are essential to being an effective, dedicated public servant. I’m looking forward to representing all of Plumsted Township’s residents.
